Allstar Media Services are thrilled to announce our Web Application, PayBurst, has been shortlisted in the Northern Digital Awards 2019 for the ‘Best Digital Tool/Software’. 

PayBurst provides a solution for charities to target the modern ‘cashless society’, whilst creating a platform that seamlessly integrates charitable events with digital donating in real-time. It is a web-based app allowing users to donate through a few clicks of their mobile, with optional interactive elements to enrich the experience of guests at any charity event.

PayBurst calculates and processes donations within milliseconds, whilst simultaneously displaying live running totals to the audience. The web application means the need for physical money at charity events is no longer a priority as users can donate using Card, Apple Pay or Android Pay. It gives customers the opportunity to pledge Gift Aid, allowing the charity to collect 25% more too.

Commenting on ‘PayBurst’ being shortlisted, our Managing Director, John Mustard, said: “Absolutely brilliant news and it shows that with all members working together, incredible results can be achieved. Irrespective of the outcome at the awards in January, this product is groundbreaking and we need to steam ahead with it. To have a product that can increase cashless charity donations and add such an uplift to Gift Aid is incredibly worthwhile and satisfying for the whole business.”  

We are extremely delighted to be shortlisted! It would be amazing to come away being the winners, however regardless of the outcome, having the recognition for our hard work from such a reputable event amongst our digital industry peers is a great achievement in itself! The Allstar team are keeping their fingers crossed for a win in the New Year.

The winners will be announced at an award ceremony on the evening of Thursday 31st January at The Royal Armouries New Dock Hall in Leeds. We wish the very best of luck to all those that have been shortlisted!
